Memtest Sierra Install Lion From

I dont have access to a Mac computer, is there anyway I can install Lion from a Windows PC on the fresh SSD I cant use a bootable USB as I dont have the boot screen to select booting from a USB.

Im kind of at a loss here, any help is greatly appreciated.

I never could get the 1,1 to boot properly from a windows usb or a DVD.

Once I get that running on the fresh hard drive I plan to upgrade.

Point is after holding alt for 30 for sec let go of it and you can select a boot device.

If it booted to a hard drive then try again but hit the right arrow on the keyboard to hopefully move over to the usb then hit enter.

But I still dont know if your gonna see anything due to the graphics card.

Dont need a USB, you can do a straight upgrade on your Lion drive, and it automatically reboots into the installer, so you dont need to worry about whether or not you can see the boot screen.

I just did it on my 1,1 last night (that Im typing from rn), was damn slick.

EDIT: Ah, misread.

Youll want to try and guess at the boot selection menu like P1nk suggested, or just wipe the SSD, build a bootable USB with Lion, and it should default to the USB after being unable to find a bootable internal drive.

I have four MacPro 1,1s all firmware upgraded to 2,1s, all which I either got for free or for very cheap, and all of which are running 10.11.6.

I also have three 3,1s (again cheap) running 10.14.6 with dosdude1s patcher, and two 4,1s firmware upgraded to 5,1s running 10.14.6 natively.

I found that the 1,1s can all run with 64GB RAM and the 3,1s can use all 64GB RAM with 10.11.6 but that, for some unknown reason, when the 3,1s are patched with dosdude1s patch, they wont boot with 64GB but work fine with 56GB RAM.

Also, I learned quite by accident that you can use Macrium Reflect to clone a Windows 10 boot drive on a PC laptop or desktop, then insert it in a 3,1 or a 1,1 and it will boot Windows 10 and run just fine.

On the 3,1, it seems Windows 10 automatically loads the drivers it needs to boot, and then reboots itself, although you will probably need to load the additional (less essential) Mac-specific drivers from various Bootcamp repositories.

Another oddity is that, altho I can clone the hard drive on a PC with Macrium Reflect and it will boot on a Mac Pro, I havent been able to clone the identical hard drive under Windows on a Mac Pro and have it boot on the Mac Pro.
